June 11-15: Mathematics in Nature Ages 6-10
During Ancient Greek and Roman times, philosophers and mathematicians discovered patterns and unique properties in nature.  Throughout history, new mathematical discoveries have impacted our daily lives and the future.  Learn various mathematical patterns and equations and how to use them.

June 18-22: Science Quest Ages 6-10
Calling all scientists!  Explore many different scientific theories and properties that we see in action every day.  Learn about laws of motion, gravity, and electricity.  Explore Einstein, Newton and Galileo and their contributions to our world.  One person really can make a difference!

June 25-29: Life Lab Ages 6-10
Life Lab is a week long day camp where gifted children can be with their peers. The camp will focus on social and emotional growth that is gifted sensitive. Common areas are; positive peer interaction, how to handle frustration when things don’t go your way and getting along in large and small groups. Lessons will be played out through challenging activities that harness the gifted child’s unique ability to problem solve.

 Primary Clean Up Plans

•  All trees and shrubs to be trimmed and branches removed
• Planting of citronella plants for additional mosquito control
• Placement of natural mosquito rings in the retention pond
• Treatment of trees, mulch and shrubs with a natural organic pesticide for the entire LMMA outside area – sport court, ball field and both primary and elementary play areas
• Repair, power wash and reseal existing playground equipment
• Direct irrigation heads within the playground area to water down mulch at night for dust and pollen control on an as needed basis
• Placement of Bat Houses
